With August and Gathering Sunday now passed, we extend our gratitude to Pastor Ben for his pulpit coverage arrangements. To address ongoing pulpit responsibilities, Rudy Baergen and Ed Janzen have generously committed to preaching once a month until the end of 2023, with the possibility of extension or until a new interim minister is hired. Additional commitments from Pastors Catharine Hunsberger, Myrna Miller Dyck, and Jennifer Hoover have been received, and we continue to seek others. Plans for the remainder of the year are progressing. Simultaneously, Ed Janzen, Rudy Baergen, and John Enns are developing a pastoral relations outline, with more details to come in next month’s Update Letter, as we navigate this transition period with the collective determination to ensure our spiritual journey thrives.
