Vision Team
The Vision Team (formerly Church Council) at WKUM Church keeps the church running smoothly. Vision Team members are elected by the congregation to make decisions regarding the everyday business of running a church.
Vision Team is composed of:
- Chairperson
- Past Chairperson
- Vice Chairperson
- Deacon Representative
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Heads of Committees
Committees
Along with many other generous volunteers, the following committees are responsible for much of the maintenance and growth of WKUM Church: Christian Education, Mission and Service, Gift Discernment, Property, Worship, Personnel, Health and Wellness, and Communications Reference Committee.
Health and Wellness Committee
The vision of the Health and Wellness Committee is:
- To foster a healthy and healing environment within the faith community
- To nurture the congregation to greater health of body, mind and spirit
- To support and maximize our capacity to care for each other
- To be a resource for health education and health promotion
The Health and Wellness Committee provides oversight, direction and support for the Parish Nurse and Health Ministry at WKUM Church.
